Terminal Server licensing
Fixing issues with Terminal Services licensing
Make sure you know what you are doing and have backups.
- Locate and then delete the following registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\RCM\Certificate , X509 Certificate, X509 Certificate ID, X509 Certificate2 - NOTE – Please make sure you do this in the VM Console, not over RDP:
- Reactivate the Terminal Services Licensing server. You don’t have to reinstall licenses.
- Reboot the Licensing/TS servers.
